Hi guys! Is it Thursday already? This week has gone by fast for me. I really must thank you for all your kind comments regarding the Real Living feature. I'm really thrilled with it and am blown away with the interest you have shown in my home, blog and work.

Some readers wanted to see images of the article so here are a couple of the spreads to give you a little peek. Do check out the mag when/if you can to read the article and see more of the photos if you'd like to.

Also, I've ticked off one of the items on my to-do list regarding the laundry makeover. Can't wait to show it to you tomorrow!

My home in Real Living

I've been a little hush hush about this but I'm so excited to now tell you that my home has been featured in the November issue of Real Living which is out in stores now! If you'd like to see it check out pages 132-138 but I'll see if I can post some images of it to show you.

The photo shoot took place last month. Jason Grant worked his magic styling up my home, Nick Scott photographed the story and Natalie Walton wrote the article. It was such a fun experience!

A big thank you to the Real Living team and to Belinda for making this happen. I'm still pinching myself.

Also, apologies to anyone who might live near me - I may have bought every copy at the local newsagency.

Bouncing back

Thank you to everyone who left me lovely comments while I took an unexpected break to rest. I'm back and fighting fit. I used the time to get as much rest as my little boy would let me - who, by the way, now has 8 teeth (!!!) and is getting around by pulling himself forward with his hands. He's also saying "baba" and "dada" so all those months of teaching him "mama" haven't worked.

While on the subject of babies I'll be back with a baby related review and then I'm heading downstairs to finally finish off that painting.

Before I head off for the weekend I wanted to share with you some exciting news. I've actually WON something, as in really won something as opposed to winning an Ebay auction.

Her "misadventures as an unlikely housewife" as she describes make me giggle. As I sat down with a tea in hand ready to read her latest entry I was surprised to see my name pop up as the winner of her first giveaway!
