We have been getting ready for Christmas. The tree is up. Holidays planned. Still need to buy gifts!
Last weekend David pulled the tree out of storage. Christmas snuck up on me too fast last year and I hadn't put it up. I have to be honest it doesn't really feel festive if we don't decorate the tree.
I enjoy seeing all the creative ideas people come up with for Christmas decorating but this year I'm keeping it simple with silver and white baubles. I may purchase more to fill out the tree.
How are you decorating your home for Christmas?

I seem to change my colour scheme each year depending on how I feel and whats on trend ... it started with blue and silver but this year Iv added in purple both light and dark and I really love the colours. Its definately not Xmas until the tree is up :)

That might be the best fake tree ever! We don't really decorate the tree. There is something about a tree with a bunch of white lights and nothing else that makes me happy.

Hello Vivian! We always decorate a tree. This year the kids did all the work. They even put it out of the closet. I wasn't in the mood so I didn't help at all. On the other hand I've always wanted to decorate a boat. Part of the greek tradition. Maybe next year.

ReplyDeleteI love the simplicity of the white decorations on your tree. Ours is decorated in red & gold. I'm really fussy with the tree & have taught the kids how to decorate it evenly, haha. (they are all teenagers) Its a bit of a family joke how fussy I am about the tree.
