Braids

Another quick post today just before I duck out for the weekend! I downloaded Hair Romance's new e-book 30 Braids in 30 Days and in 5 minutes I learnt how to do The French Side Sweep Braid. It was easy!

I wish I had taken a better photo of the back of my head but then you might see the little twist tie I'm using to hold my hair in place because I couldn't find an elastic band. Please don't tell Christina :)

Have a beautiful weekend, friends. See you here again next week.

  2. I love braiding my hair! So stylish and simple and keeps the hair off my face.
I love using the spongy donut hair piece thing where I make big bun on the side of my head and then do tiny plaits and weave it all around the bun.
It's hard to describe, without seeing it, but it's such a simple hair style and I always get asked if I am going somewhere special...
I'm like no... I'm just a mum who hasn't washed her hair for a few days and this hair style is the best cover up (aside from a pretty colourful scarf).

    1. I haven't tried that sponge donut thing Gayle, is it easy to use? I'm too scared I won't secure it correctly and it'll fall out in public.

    1. I have! It was time for a trim and now most of the pink / blonde ends are gone which is sad. And no, you aren't the only grown-up not to be able to braid. I've had to practise braiding because I can only do it on other people and the inside out braid? That one scares me.

  7. I love the idea of this book but I am a non-braider :( My little girl would love braids and to be honest I sould love to be able to do that in my own hair.... would the book be suitable for a beginner braider?
