Another quick post today just before I duck out for the weekend! I downloaded Hair Romance's new e-book 30 Braids in 30 Days and in 5 minutes I learnt how to do The French Side Sweep Braid. It was easy!

I wish I had taken a better photo of the back of my head but then you might see the little twist tie I'm using to hold my hair in place because I couldn't find an elastic band. Please don't tell Christina :)
Have a beautiful weekend, friends. See you here again next week.

Haha you're so sweet Viv! I love it, absolutely gorgeous as always x
ReplyDeleteThank you, Christina! Your e-book is super simple to follow.
DeleteI love braiding my hair! So stylish and simple and keeps the hair off my face.
ReplyDeleteI love using the spongy donut hair piece thing where I make big bun on the side of my head and then do tiny plaits and weave it all around the bun.
It's hard to describe, without seeing it, but it's such a simple hair style and I always get asked if I am going somewhere special...
I'm like no... I'm just a mum who hasn't washed her hair for a few days and this hair style is the best cover up (aside from a pretty colourful scarf).
I haven't tried that sponge donut thing Gayle, is it easy to use? I'm too scared I won't secure it correctly and it'll fall out in public.
Deletebraids are great, i love to braid my hair something very similar to this one :)
ReplyDeleteYou've cut your hair!! And...I'm prob the only grown lady who still can't braid.
ReplyDeleteI have! It was time for a trim and now most of the pink / blonde ends are gone which is sad. And no, you aren't the only grown-up not to be able to braid. I've had to practise braiding because I can only do it on other people and the inside out braid? That one scares me.

ReplyDeleteI can plait but not braid unfortunatly, Im loving these new styles and braids Iv seen lately, they are so feminine!
ReplyDeleteAnd a great way to make your hair look good if it is in need of a wash I've found ;-)
DeleteI love the idea of this book but I am a non-braider :( My little girl would love braids and to be honest I sould love to be able to do that in my own hair.... would the book be suitable for a beginner braider?
