I promise I won't ever start a post with a knock knock joke. I'm terrible at telling jokes! Rather, I literally had a knock on my door from Mr Courier holding a gift of a chair with a little love note just for me. Okay it was just a note but let's pretend there were kisses and hearts.
Isn't the chair beautiful? It is from the new limited edition IKEA PS range to be launched on 1 August. It has been nicknamed the "Robbie chair" in our household because he sits here at dinnertime. Note: there is no cushion covered seat so food can be wiped up easily. The white cushioned chippendale chairs thank IKEA (so do I).Here are a few more pieces joining the PS collection and to be hitting the stores next week. Looking forward to seeing the full range in person and if you are in Sydney and would like to check it out too there will be a pop-up gallery at District 01 in Darlinghurst from Friday 27th - Sunday 29th July where you can view the range.

I like IKEA and I love that they got more into design and functionality rather than just offering cheap pieces don´t you think?! I got a small dinner table with matching chairs a couple of years ago - perfect for my tiny apartment and EVERY guest asked me about it. It almost looks like a piece of art. Can´t wait for my next IKEA spree - thanks for the inspiration!

DeleteI'm so bad at telling jokes too, I get nervous and forget the punchline oh dear! Off to Ikea today for a client, and I wonder what other unnecessary (but necessary if you know what I mean!) goodies I will come back with... ;)
ReplyDeleteLove your chair, Robbie will be very happy making a mess in it I'm sure!
