For me it is my mother. Growing up as a child she was the most glamorous person alive to me and I still think this for many reasons, one of which is how she carries herself with elegance through even the trickiest of situations (even though at times she may not think so herself). For me, glamour is not only related to style but to an elegance from within and it is probably why I never really related 'glamour' to movie stars or other celebrities - I don't know who they are as people!

Oh and PS. Can we talk about the awesome mix of wallpaper in the photo above? Ha! It used to be in my parents home many moons ago. All the furniture is long gone too. I love looking at old photographs.

i too find my mother very glamorous - she never goes for 'trends' and always wears what suits her body shape and colouring. She is more about quality than quantity and always looks elegant. Inspiring to me!

For eighteen years I have been enamored with Gwen Stefani. From her early victory rolls, platinum blonde hair, liquid eyeliner, and red lipstick, she is glam to me. Her style has influenced me from middle school, to a young mother in my thirties. She is still gorgeous, and I can only imagine she will remain glamorous into her old age.

My glamour icon is definately Jackie Onassis! Who can go past those crisp skirt suits, the gorgeous colour and refined sophistication. Tipped off with amazing hair, and always the perfect shade of lipstick, she is completely timeless and elegant!
