Enjoying the morning sun
There are projects and updates to my home I still want to tackle. Projects such as finding a new rug for the living room, working on the bathroom and hanging wallpaper at the entrance. I am busy saving up my pennies so that I can see these projects through the fruition.
In the meantime, Robbie and I are enjoying the house as it is. I feel rather lucky to wake up to the sun every morning. I know some people might like to keep the blinds drawn if their bedroom has morning sun but it doesn't bother me at all. In fact I really cherish those few seconds between being asleep and being awake where everything is a little hazy but the light is so beautiful. I'm appreciating those moments today.

Good for you for loving what you have
ReplyDeleteand good luck on your home projects.
Have a nice day!
And you too Ann!
DeleteWe are redoing our bedroom and I've just realised we're getting the same yellow fabric as yours for our pillows! I've had to ship it from the states which is a pain but couldn't find it around NZ. Your pillows are beautiful all together :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful fabric. I bought mine from the states too. Are you making cushions from it?
DeleteYour image is lovely. Here's to many more mornings of sunshine.

Good reminder to just stop and be in the moment for once. I often need that reminder.
ReplyDeleteI love waking up in the sun too howeverI do live in Sweden now and it's nearly 20 hours of light. Big curtains, I tell you. BIG CURTAINS!
ReplyDeleteI get the same feeling from seeing the afternoon light coming through my bedroom window on a lazy Sunday. I just adore your bedroom. The cushions are stunning. Kelly
