Dining area

Will I ever stop working on my home? I'm not sure!

The latest corner I am tackling is the dining area. I have recently purchased these dining chairs and I am hunting down the below fabric to cover the seats with.

I am considering pairing the chairs with either this Stuart Membery dining table with its Moroccan style base:

Or the Re-Trouvé table designed by Patricia Urquiola. The table is for indoor and outdoor use and I like the fluid lines of the base that look like squiggles.

I'm leaning towards the Re-Trouvé table at this stage. What do you think? Have you seen any other round dining tables I should consider?

PS. Read what I wrote about these dining chairs over at lustable

  5. I love that textile! I actually prefer the Membery table. I like the heavy base against the openness of the chair you've chosen.

  7. That chair/fabric combo is DIVINE! I can't think of a word wonderful enough to describe it! I think a lot of people often pick the wrong fabric for these kind of chairs, but the one you picked is perfect.I think the Stuart Membery table might be a bit too matchy-matchy, but I like both tables.
Keep us updated! Can't wait to see your progress!

  11. Great chairs and fabric! The Re-Trouvé gets my vote, the Membery is perhaps a bit too heavy.
P.s. If you stop working on your home, what will we have to read about???!
