I'm very much inspired by her used of colourful patterned textiles and the seagrass wall covering is a great backdrop.

Her kitchen has a full glass tiled splashback too. I really like this look with the open shelving.

I didn't realise until I saw this last image that I have seen part of her home before. I was (and still am) drawn to the blue stripes on the wall in different shades, the red hanging mobile and the rug. A lovely little boy's room.

Wow! That house is really really beautiful. It is hard to get that slightly bohemian look just right without slipping over into messy hippy territory. Thanks for the lovely photos :)

loved the lavander and deep purple...& the lil boy's room was amazing esp his walls!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love the rugs, especially the blue one and the purple one. I haven't really been a fan of the striped wall look but most of the ones I've seen are only two colours. I really like the look of using three colours as she has done.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous home! I remember that post you had written about that lovely kitchen. I really like the boy's room at the end - those stripes on the wall are really effective. How's your design course going?
ReplyDeleteI CRAVE that David Hicks fabric...it's one of my faves!

Gisely - thank you!
ReplyDeleteAmanda - the course is going really well. I can see that I'm going to have to tear lots of pages out my magazines which makes me a bit sad but never mind!
Jen - I really, really, really love that fabric too.
Ooh... I love the rug in Angie's living room.
