Dressing out of my comfort zone

I bought this dress to wear to an upcoming event. It is a colour-themed party and I was looking for a green dress (this one is more of a green / blue in person). The dress caught my eye in the shop window with its glittering sequins. The sun loved it.

When I tried it on I joked that I looked like tinsel. How fitting for the holiday season! It is not a dress to wear if you plan to be inconspicuous and I will need a mountain of courage to wear it to the party.

Do you do sequins? They seem to be everywhere these days.

 PS. I hope you don't mind my Fashion Friday posts seem to be scattered on any day of the week. Fridays have become busy days for me so I find it easiest to post earlier in the week.

  8. I'm not sure I could pull off sequins at my work. I already get comments for the small studded shoes I wear sometimes :)
