Colour idea for your home: Room rugs {Easton Pearson Designer Rugs collection}

Last week I was pleased to have been invited to the launch of the new Designer Rugs collection by Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson of the Australian fashion label Easton Pearson. I have written about their previous collection back in 2009 so it was nice to see their new collection.

"With our second collection for Designer Rugs we have continued our exploration of the intricate hand drawn details of Chintz textiles. Our designs take chintz back to its original purpose as sophisticated floor coverings, but the macro focus on tiny fragments gives traditional design a new modern viewpoint."

See more of the collection after the jump...

I feel so strongly about incorporating good quality rugs to your home if the budget allows. Beautifully designed and colourful patterned rugs are like art for the floor and can also act to anchor your space together as well as adding warmth and comfort.
Rugs are also a great way to add a hit of colour to your home so if you prefer your furniture to be neutral but you enjoy colour you can add a bit of pizzazz through flooring.

Each rug is handmade and they can also be custom coloured. See the full collection HERE

Do you have a favourite from this collection?

  1. That first rug is amazing but I would be too scared to actually step on it though its like a work of art! They are all incredible designs. What I would give to have one of those rugs :)

  2. I am very lucky to have an oval Favorita from their first collection and it is probably the "thing I would save in a fire" The kids are a bit sick of me saying no eating on the rug, shoes off the rug. The new collection is gorgeous too.
