Fashion Friday: More apples and florals

I was rushing out the door this morning and asked my partner to quickly snap these photos so that I can actually write a Fashion Friday post today. Hair isn't styled but it hardly ever is these days. Too much to do to worry about something like that.

I have worn this cardigan previously and the shoes and skirt have been featured here too but I think they look cute together. Very much love mixing patterns and colours these days. Fashion should be fun. And speaking of fun.. it's almost the weekend!

I'm wearing:
ASOS cardigan and skirt
Top I bought years ago from a trip to the Gold Coast
A silly grin.. oh dear.

  4. I just looked back on your previous 'Fashion Friday' posts and you have a beautiful fashion style - like a modern day Audrey Hepburn!

I'm a bit lost with what my style is these days. I had a baby 8 weeks ago, so for now I stick to pj's or yoga pants. Then what really made me start thinking about my clothes was when I was actually 'dressed up' (in jeans and a t-shirt) and I answered the door to some sales rep and they asked me if my mother was home... You'd think you should feel flattered when someone thinks you're younger than what you are, but lately I don't enjoy looking like a teenager.

So thank you for inspiring me. I too would like to look like a modern day Audrey Hepburn and you have given me some ideas.

    1. Wow - what a wonderful compliment to be compared to Audrey Hepburn! x
I totally understand what you mean about sticking to pj's or comfortable clothes after having a baby. It is what inspired me to start the Fashion Friday series - it forced me to get dressed and step outside for some sun. I found it hard to do when I was in a cycle of eat, sleep, change nappy, play, eat, sleep etc...
