Sorry that happened :( I vote for covering it with a clipboard or art too... think of it this way, 99% of the wall is still beautiful, why focus on the torn 1%? :)
I vote option 1. This is what my parents used to do back in the motherland if my sister or I destroyed any of the [hideous] wallpaper we had there, they'd just replace the ruined sections. It can work. Then put another clipboard/artwork on top.

What happened?
ReplyDeleteOuch! Seconding the question of what happened?
ReplyDeleteAnd thirding!
ReplyDeleteA person who will remain nameless tore the clipboard off the wall and along with it the paper.
ReplyDeleteMy options:
1. Replace this small section of wallpaper. I can aim to hide the seams as best as possible but not sure how successful it will be.
2. Replace the entire wall of wallpaper. Oh my...
3. Cover the damage with the clipboard and pretend it isn't there.
I vote for option number 3! But if ur like me just knowing it's there will send you crazy!
ReplyDeleteIf you have enough wallpaper, cover the tear with that, it'll look the most seamless. Otherwise, option 3!
ReplyDeleteOH My! That looks like it's going to be a little difficult to repair, though I'm not sure about covering with a clipboard? Why not a picture?

ReplyDeleteBugger! I'd try to patch that section first and if it looked obvious that panel. Hope the nameless one did much sucking - up! LOL
