I have seen this display home featured in a few different places. I was initially drawn to the blue walls and then inspired by the way this home was built of 5 shipping containers.

Looking closer I was amazed by the patterned ceiling which creates a beautiful focal point. Often in class we are advised to consider a room as having not only walls and a floor but a ceiling that can designed to add interest to a space. These images have inspired me to also look up.

Your hand rendering is gorgeous. Those shipping container walls remind me a lot of tongue and groove. What a smart idea! I wonder how they insulated it though.

ReplyDeletethe pattern on the ceiling reminds me of an Orla Keily pattern - just gorgeous!

Painting walls and ceilings of your home is a big job you need to think before you start. The correct order to paint any room is to start with the ceiling, then walls, and finally the woodwork and metal, such as radiators and pipes. Always plan your work and work systematically, that way you will not miss bits, to be displayed when the paint is dry.
