The Urban Outfitters duvet I wrote about a few weeks ago arrived earlier than expected. The ruffles are lovely but a bit creased and I bet it will be a nightmare to iron. I plan on NEVER ironing it. Ever. Nuh uh.

The 'froufiness' of the ruffles and the texture is perfect for a winter duvet. I still think it would look better paired with this bedhead though. Perhaps with a smaller sized bed so that it hangs further down the sides.

That duvet has been on my wishlist for a while now. It looks amazing...and makes me want to finally order one for myself!
ReplyDeleteIt looks absolutely gorgeous! I wander what that smell is - the last time i bought sheets I had to wash and dry them twice before the plasticy chemical odour was out.
ReplyDeleteoooo!! It looks like a big fluffy cloud - so adorable! I wouldn't iron it either, ironing is for suckers.
ReplyDeleteOh. My! What a beauty! I love it. I wonder if i could get my husband to redo our bedding? LOL
ReplyDelete*sigh* It's heavenly!!!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! The ruffles are so romantic!
ReplyDeleteIt looks very pretty. No need to iron. I think it feels like heaven to lay underneeth a duvet like this...!

Very pretty! I love nice, comfy looking comforters that you can just melt into. It doesn't look that wrinkly either, more just like that's the 'look' of it.
ReplyDeleteoooh Viv amazingly cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI love this! After you posted, I checked it out on the website. It would look great in my bedroom.
ReplyDeletelove urban outfitters - did the shipping cost a fortune?? My in laws are going to seattle in a few weeks so i migh have to place an order if the boy can handle the ruffles!

Sal R-J - the shipping was free! There was a promo on at the time. There is another promo on right now - $10 flat rate shipping for orders up to $149.99 and free for over that.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful! There's just something so feminine and Parisian with ruffles. And what about the smell?
ReplyDeleteWow, it's stunning. Like a little piece of heaven in the middle of winter.
ReplyDeleteI have my eye on a quilt by Lazybones, but am wondering if it's too girly for my husband. Does your hubby mind having a frilly duvet?

Oh my gosh! Amazing, it is like sleeping on a bed of icing (minus the stickiness). I am guessing it smells like a mix of My Little Pony and Cabbage Patch Kids? ;)
ReplyDeleteooooh i'm pretty sure if i lay on that bed i'd never, ever get uup - so cosy! you must have the best nights sleep! x
ReplyDeleteLove, Love that duvet!! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty - looks all fluffy and soft! And I agree...no ironing needed :)!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! I would love that duvet but I don't think my husband would.
ReplyDeleteQuestion about your framed wallpaper....did you need to glue the wallpaper to a board before framing or were you able to put it in there loose (if that makes sense)? I'm thinking about doing the same thing.
I love it, I definitely wouldn't iron it though.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! Although for me it would be a dog hair nightmare. You could always spritz it with water then fluff in the dryer to get the wrinkles out.
ReplyDeleteI saw it on their stie and thought it was lovely, looks gorgeous on your bed. Quite the bargain too!
ReplyDeleteThis duvet is gorgeous. You have inspired me to introduce interiors onto my blog. Amazing XX
