Duvet

The Urban Outfitters duvet I wrote about a few weeks ago arrived earlier than expected. The ruffles are lovely but a bit creased and I bet it will be a nightmare to iron. I plan on NEVER ironing it. Ever. Nuh uh.

The 'froufiness' of the ruffles and the texture is perfect for a winter duvet. I still think it would look better paired with this bedhead though. Perhaps with a smaller sized bed so that it hangs further down the sides.

  2. It looks absolutely gorgeous! I wander what that smell is - the last time i bought sheets I had to wash and dry them twice before the plasticy chemical odour was out.

  7. Very pretty! I love nice, comfy looking comforters that you can just melt into. It doesn't look that wrinkly either, more just like that's the 'look' of it.

  12. Wow, it's stunning. Like a little piece of heaven in the middle of winter.

I have my eye on a quilt by Lazybones, but am wondering if it's too girly for my husband. Does your hubby mind having a frilly duvet?

  13. Oh my gosh! Amazing, it is like sleeping on a bed of icing (minus the stickiness). I am guessing it smells like a mix of My Little Pony and Cabbage Patch Kids? ;)

  17. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!! I would love that duvet but I don't think my husband would.

Question about your framed wallpaper....did you need to glue the wallpaper to a board before framing or were you able to put it in there loose (if that makes sense)? I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

  19. This is lovely! Although for me it would be a dog hair nightmare. You could always spritz it with water then fluff in the dryer to get the wrinkles out.
