I usually don't like to think about decorating for Christmas until December but I came across these images and really wanted to share with you, especially the beautiful hanging bauble centrepiece. Doesn't it look great? I'm tempted to try to make my own to dress up the table this Christmas.
Have you started decorating for Christmas?

Im the same with you Viv...dont usually...or officially start till Dec. That hanging centerpiece is fantastic..and so effective>.im sure you will get alot of positive comments about it at xmas time. Hope both your boys are fully recovered and well now. Anna x
ReplyDeleteThanks Anna! We are still getting there slowly. This cold just seems to linger and linger.
ReplyDeleteyep, we're december decorators! we start the advent calendars and candles on dec 1 and then put up the tree and lay out our boots on dec 6 for st nick's "visit". my dad is german so that's how i did it as a kid and we've continued the tradition with our own. i love the bauble chandellier - sure beats my usual shoved-in-a-glass-vase!!
ReplyDeleteIve already put up the tree and all the decorations around home..we have a tall palm tree in our front yard (in Melbourne BTW) and my husband is going to put rope lights around it also.. we just could not wait and we are both so impatient...
ReplyDeleteThe hanging bauble thingy is awesome.
Love this - I have decided to try and go all out this year. The children are a little older and I feel like I have more time to spend decorating instead of cleaning up the mess they make. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteI'm usually a December Decorator too but it all happened last weekend at our place.
ReplyDeleteThe suspended baubles look fantastic! Also love the all white book background!
Completely gorgeous! I've already wrapped presents but don't even have a tree to put them under! I must get on that but I'd love to do this instead!
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous, love that idea! We will be starting the decorations this weekend, i have a 3year old so he wants to start early, bless!
ReplyDeletedecember 1st is the time for us, but this year, we are starting a day early - i know, i know, bad luck or something (!) - because we have a little friend's bday celebration on the 1st. i can't wait to decorate now that my little blokes are just that little bit older. it'll be great fun.
ReplyDeleteThat centre piece is really fantastic. I think i may have to do it myself. I saw something similar last year with individual balls hung over the dining table but this is more effective.
ReplyDeleteThe bauble chandelier looks fantastic. You are very talented. Just wondering how you have attached it to the ceiling and is it fishing wire you've used?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
