Reusing vintage handles

These days one of the first things people do when jazzing up old furniture is to swap out the handles. I must say sometimes I think it is nice to keep the old handles rather than replace them more modern ones. I guess it depends on the style of the furniture piece and, of course, your own personal taste.

Here's an idea I came across for reusing old handles - fix them to a wall to hang keys, glasses etc from.

I'm not sure how functional this idea would be though.
